The colour wheel: Lesson with Kat Vogart

This is the colour wheel. We were taught about this in Kat Vogarts class. This lesson was really useful  as it taught me how to understand the colour wheel and how to apply this to my makeup artistry. This is really useful to know as it can help you have a better understanding of colour theory for briefs etc.

Monochromatic:



This is when you use different variations of the same Colour. For example as you can see above. They have used different shades of purple.

Analogues: 


Analogue is when the 3 neighbouring colours on the colour wheel are grouped together.

Complimentary: 



This when you use colours opposite to each other on the colour wheel. Example above. You also use this to 'compliment' your clients features. For example using bronze shades on someone with blue eyes make them look bluer and brighter.
