I absolutely love this. I love the eccentricity and creativity of John Galliano's shows. this makeup is the perfect example of that. I love the complete deconstruction of this makeup. The base and lips are perfect. pale clean and fresh complexions with explosions of contrasting colours. The dark against the bright colours make the eyes pop. I love the dark berry stained lips too as this darkens the look slightly. The roughly drawn on eyebrows over the models natural brow is messy but completely works as it adds a bit of mess to the perfectly applied makeup. Creating a bit of balance between perfect application and messy spontaneous creativity.
I really feel the 1920's in these look's. The thin eyebrows extravagant eye makeup and dark lips screams 1920's movie siren. The placement of colour is really inspiring to me and the contrasting colours. The colours are really interesting. I want to experiment with the colours and placement in my final look. I love the intensity of this look. I hope to achieve the same thing with my design.
